Apparently @apsc_office is offering a leadership seminar where the speaker A/Prof Sin will be addressing the important questions in cardiac surgery like whether or not women have a role as CT surgeons #ILookLikeASurgeon

I do hope that this is a provocative question only where the speaker will simply answer, of course there is and here is a list of the ways we champion women in CT surgery

However, I fear that could be wishful thinking given that sexism is so pervasive in my specialty and nobody seems to care enough about it to change it. In fact, despite hard data, my colleagues have told me it’s all in my head

It would be great if @apsc_office could comment on this and address it. As a surgeon in the Asia Pacific region, I’ve got a vested interest in this and would appreciate a response.
