I honestly think Jess Krug& #39;s escape into Blackness is the logical conclusion of white guilt. White guilt provides you with no exit route. None. It& #39;s not surprising that at least a few people, tried to exit whiteness as a reaction to feeling shitty all the time.

A person can& #39;t live in a continuously pressurized system, feeling hurt at all time for the harm one did by the crime of existing and that one can NEVER escape from or make amends for. The concept of white guilt as original sin: it leads to some wackiness! Jess Krug is proof!

I don& #39;t think the only thing that motivated her was pathology, she very clearly did this for professional and personal aggrandizement. Sorry if I didn& #39;t make this clear.
