1/n #ThinkBig Nature of conflicts has changed completely. “Minds” need to register it & remodel the ‘thinking’ both Diplomatic & Military. Problem is we equip military with equipment that was ideal three decades back while Diplomacy is independent. Result-Weakened Political Will

2/n #ThinkBig Thinking is not a strong point of most. When “thinkers” express, we ignore them. We never pay attention to “thinkers” because to us ‘today’ is more imp than ‘tomorrow’. It’s these people who take country forward & make country strong. We have no culture of thinking.

3/n #ThinkBig This happens since there is deep resistance to change. While world goes ahead in technology, we fight war games based on Vietnam. Chiefs work shoukd affect two decades later. Chiefs talk of Operations where as it should be Strategy. Can he be a ‘thinker’?

4/n #ThinkBig Now see diplomacy. Diplomats, Ambassadors, Foreign Ministry & RM survive in ‘real time’ scenario. They have pulse of the world. Raksha Mantri, his Ministry and his Bureaucrats are fighting their own Forces. The forces themselves are practising 20 yr old wars!!

5/n #ThinkBig Military minds are rusted. See this. THREE STRIKE CORPS. All Armour. All for plains. All existing since last 40 years. Not one has left Cantonments for operations. 10-20 lac crores. 40 yrs upkeep. No military mind has drawn Govt attention. That’s due to no thinkers.

6/n #ThinkBig Can you see the problem? The Foreign Ministry and Defence Ministry are not only not in sync, they are looking exactly in opposite directions. Both have bureaucrats at helm. All are pen pushers. Military is in a desperate individual race to get next rank.

7/n #ThinkBig I will put my finger on the exact problem and suggest solutions on why, in the 74th year of independence we have a EUREKA MOMENT when CDS says ‘we may have to fight on two fronts’. There cannot be a bigger and stronger vindication of fact ‘WE HAVE NO THINKERS’.

8/n #ThinkBig What does ‘in sync’ mean? The complete nation must be singing one tune. It’s an orchestra. It’s better to have very ordinary orchestra members who play in sync rather than ‘masters’ of each instrument who think all others are playing wrong.
