We’re getting ready to start packing to move and honestly maybe it would be a better idea to just leave everything behind and start a new life.
I spent three years thrifting and sale shopping a strong baby lawyer wardrobe, so I will bring that. And the kitchenaid. And the dog. Everything else I should just give over to the wild.
If I ever have an absolutely frivolous amount of money, which I will not, the most frivolous way I will use it will be to hire some service that makes it so that I have to have zero involvement with a move.
Like I want to leave my apartment one morning, stay in a hotel a couple nights, and come back to a different apartment, fully unpacked and organized. Mail forwarding handled. Utilities set up and working. Fridge stocked.
I guess if I have that kind of money, I might not have an apartment anymore. Idk what wealthy people do.
