can be a very emotionally charged and even energy taxing type of healing work. Shadow work is dealing with those old wounds and scars that have programmed us to act out in certain behaviors that do not serve our highest
Good. Many times in life we move on from a situation or a tough period in our life and we do not realize the impact that it has left in it’s exit.
Ex) You may have been constantly been bullied as a child, so now as an adult you’re constantly feeling unworthy. You
May even participate in some self bullying as well.
In order to stop this behavior shadow work is very essential. Unresolved pain or trauma can also completely alter your authentic personality, which can cause you to act out in some very harmful ways to self or be very toxic in your relationships.
Your shadow self is where all those ugly scar wounds or lower vibrational energies reside. You can see this also as our subconscious because most of the time we do not realize that these issues are influencing our behaviors or decision making.
Your shadow self is the place you wanna focus on to heal yourself.

A lot of times your shadow work can be triggered by particular events, resurfaced memories, your guides/ spirit team, or you can begin shadow work yourself
Shadow work is where you want to change your vibration and altar your state of consciousness by becoming more self enlightened/actualized.
Shadow work takes mindfulness and self awareness. When you become aware of a pattern or some old behavior that’s not truly serving you, that’s when it’s time for shadow work or when you see that certain behaviors are impacting your loved ones around you.
The first step to shadow work is self awareness, after this realization comes the nitty gritty work.

Tips for Shadow Work:

Very helpful because later on you can go back and track your progress and or make sense of new information that surfaces while you’re doing this work. I’d like to note that sometimes it’s best to not keep too much track of progress as that can create anxiety. Stay in the moment
Even in the midst of digging up all those icky and annoying ass feelings.

𓂀- Therapy, should truly be number one on this list because having a counselor or therapist guide you through the murky subconscious thoughts of your mind is very helpful. You will be provided with
