A lot of people struggling to breathe. Myself included. Medics being called in.

Police are advancing.

Pepper balls are hitting the over pass/ walking bridge. Protesters have secured the part of court street for now.

RPD is slowly advancing. They were across the intersection of court and south.

Police shooting down into the road from the court st. Parking garage.

My teeth feel spicy and I've already thrown up once. The pepper can take the breath right out of you. Protesters at the front of the line are getting the worst of it.

There are police on the other side of that door. Protesters want them to come out or to get in. Another protester is urging them to move on. Protesters barricaded the door. There are other ways in and out of the building.

Things escalated. We got tear gassed.

A fire was set outside of the manhattan square apartments. Looks like it's right next to a balcony. People throwing water bottles at it but it's too big. Protester: "people live there!!"

Shutting down the intersection of East and Alexander.

A car refusing to stop in the intersection. Another sprayed pepper spray out of the car window. People have been injured. Medics called.
