An Election Misinformation Story Part 2.

First this person is connected to the @Heritage foundation which has spent decades and millions of dollars trying to prove massive voter fraud.

Their own data shows that over 20 yrs vote-by-mail fraud was 0.00006% of all votes. 1/ https://twitter.com/jarrettstepman/status/1301984214024368129
Next, CA won’t be sending vote-by-mail ballots for another month.

What counties are doing is sending postcards to all voters to confirm addresses - aka making sure the voter rolls are updated and accurate. The kind of activity the voter fraud conspiracy theorists want.

Lastly, this tweet which is one big lie has more retweets than any PAID advertisement any election official in California has posted.

This is the danger of the current state of social media on the health of our democracy.

Since this is gaining traction. Pls follow the ofcl CA Secretary of State twitter for the facts: @casosvote

I also posted almost every twitter handle for your county election official earlier today.

Lastly sign up for http://WheresMyBallot.sos.ca.gov  to track your vote by mail ballot.
Nearly all California county elections officials have Twitter handles, find them here: https://twitter.com/jmschwab/status/1301550409379532801?s=21 https://twitter.com/jmschwab/status/1301550409379532801
For the record, just like any other piece of mail you might receive for someone who doesn’t currently live at your address, indicate “return to sender” or “doesn’t live here” and return the mail.
One more thing - When you move fill out the national change of address form. This will alert elections officials and they will update their voter rolls.
