Why ImAllexx is damaging and does not deserve your support — a thread;
Alex Elmslie, better known as Imallexx, is one of the biggest commentary youtubers on the platform. He started to gain notoriety in 2017 and now has accumulated over 2 million subscribers. And with his quick growing fame, so has been growing the number of controversies he's been+
a part of. Over the years, ImAllexx has been called out for his hipocrisy, his tendency to make misinformed videos, manipulate certain information to make himself look better, backsatbbing his friends, using racial slurs, falsely accusing at least 6 people of sexual misconduct+
being ableist and worse -- not even apologising or taking accountability for it.

Since there are many points to cover, I'll divide them into 10 sections. I know this thread is gonna be lenghty, but it's necessary. ImAllexx has got away too many times and that's gotta stop
1.0 -- His Phillip DeFranco video and lack of nuance

Source: "The Problems With ImAllexx" by Turkey Tom and "Dear WildSpartanz and ImAllexx, This is Why People Don't Like You" by WillyMacShow
On the 10th of December 2017, ImAllexx uploaded a video titled "Philip DeFranco's Patreon Scam" in which he talks about a controversy that youtuber Philip DeFranco was involved and also harshly critises youtubers Kavos and Keemstar for uploading rushed and misinformed videos+
The problem with this is that Alex's video also contained many misinformation and made up assumptions and facts, making him a hypocrite for criticising other people for things he's done himself. I won't go deep on the flaws of that video of his because that isn't the point and
in case you're curious, you can check TurkeyTom's "The Problems With Imallexx" video.

Another point brought up both by TurkeyTom and WillyMacShow on their critique videos on Alex is that he tends to treat incredibly serious situations like child abuse (his DaddyOFive video),
rape and paedophilia (his LionMaker video) and mundane, trivial and almost irrelevant topics like overprized merch (his Zoella video) with the same tone, if not more aggressive to Zoella than the other two.

What these matters brought up by WillyMacShow and TurkeyTom reveal is a
pattern of behaviour that later would become quite frequent to Alex: spreading misinformation and straight-up lying for views.

That itself shows questionable attitudes from ImAllexx, however things would only get much worse from there: He went from making up little lies on
videos about not so serious situations to helping spread (or even making up) false sexual misconduct allegations.

The first know time that Alex has done this was in 2017 to a youtuber called Zaptie.
2.0 -- The Zaptie and Tommy C situations

Source: "Zaptie, ImAllexx, ElvisTheAlien & BionicPig: Electric Boogaloo" by TurkeyTom
Zaptie was a fast-growing commentary youtuber around 2016/2017. He became friends with ImAllexx around that time and also had a podcast with other 2 youtubers called "Hot Wet Soup". But Zaptie's rising fame would be short-lived, because in 2017 he was accused of asking and
sending nudes to a 13 year old girl. Later it was proved that no nudes were exchanged and that Zaptie was catfished by that girl, who had told him she was in the age of consent when she wasn't

Zaptie, who was suffering from severe depression, took a while to prove his innocence
So, before he was proven innocent, the other Hot Wet Soup participants decided to call an end to the podcast, making one last video without Zaptie, but with ImAllexx instead.

As I said before, ImAllexx was friends with Zaptie, but not to the other HWS integrants, which makes
you wonder why he would be there in the first place. In that episode, Alex accused (with no proof whatsoever) Zaptie of being a diagnosed sociopath, which he defined as someone "who's not capable of feeling human emotions", which is simply not true.
ImAllexx was also on the front of spreading the allegations against Zaptie even if he had no credible proof. This way, even after Zaptie was proven not to be a pedo nor a sociopath, his reputation was ruined forever and he deleted his channel permanently.

Alex never apologised.
3.0 Saying and defending the usage of the N-word

Source: "Twitter Vs ImAllexx" by Bowblax; videos via @/bowblax on Twitter and Christina Gelin on Youtube
This is one of the videos of Alex defending the usage of the N-Word and saying that PewDiePie, who had said it and since apologised, shouldn't be punished for "just saying a word"

He also admits to say that slur frequently with his friends
And this is another one
ImAllex has since deleted these videos. This year he's apologised on an Instagram livestream about ONE of them and said that he's sorry for the video he made on Tana Mongeau where he said the N-word.

But, as you can see by the different background, shirt and hair, these were
clips from two different videos, and he's only apologised now for only one of them on a livestream, not even on his main channel.

Here's his apology:
3.0 -- "Comedy should have no limits" (unless I don't like it)

Source: "We Need To Stop Shane Dawson" by ImAllexx and "Twitter Vs ImAllexx" by Bowblax
Alex has defended the idea that you should make jokes about everything and that comedy should have no limits. He's talked about this on his Twitter multiple times and also on his channel, on videos like "We Should Stop Shane Dawson".

The point is not wether Alex is right about
this or not, but his hypocrisy on that very matter. He says he believes that comedy should be unlimited and defends rather edgy jokes, like the ones his friend Lewis Buchan made about nazism and Shane Dawson's infamous cat one (as you can see on the video I mentioned earlier).
But when youtuber Steven Crowder made homophobic jokes, Alex wasn’t happy with them (rightfully so) and made a Twitter video about it.

He was right to call out Crowder's homophobia, but the problem is:

"Comedy should have no limits when it comes to nazism and race, but
I draw the line when it affects my community?" How interesting.
4.0 — The James Charles situation

Source: "Defending James Charles" by ImAllexx
(posting screenshots because I accidentally posted the second half of this thread before I posted the first one)
But one thing that's interesting about this case is that Alex says on his "defending James Charles" video that you should always be careful and look at both sides of the story before jumping to any conclusions. However, that's not what he did at all when one of his closest
friends was also falsely accused. And that brings us to the next topic:

5.0 -- The Slazo situation
6.0 -- Fame MMA

Also on TrueGeordie's Christmas podcast, ImAllexx proceeded to call Kristian Sturt "a piece of shit" and a scammer, which led to Kristian receiving hate and death threats on Christmas night for something he was not
The truth is that Kristian was also a victim of a youtube event that turned out to be a scam -- Fame MMA -- which would bring influencers to fight. It turned out to be a scam because the employees weren't getting paid and some people just ran away with the money.
Kristian, who ImAllexx accused of being a scammer, was responsible for booking the fighters. He did not have anything to do with the financial part of the event.

But, because of ImAllexx, his career and reputation will be forever wrongfully damaged
7.0 -- Backstabbing his friends

Well, we already know that ImAllexx accused 2 of his friends of sexual misconduct when they did not do such things. But that wasn't the only example of his backstabbing.

Inabber, a commentary youtuber who used to collab and be close to
Alex, had an idea of making a group channel for him, ImAllexx, WillNE, James Marriott and Memeulous. He even came out with the name -- Eboys.

And the channel was made and it is called Eboys, but Inabber isn't there. Even though Fraser (Inabber) said he's ok with it,
what Alex and co did was still shady. No one knows exactly why he was excluded, but most people believe it was because of Fraser's smaller youtube following. While the other eboys have all more than one million followers each, a guy with just 500k probably wasn't good enough for
them. But, as I said, no one knows exactly why Fraser wasn't there.
7.0 -- Falsely accusing Perez Hilton of being a paedophile
Tabloid figure Perez Hilton commented on a tiktok by Charli D'amelio, saying that maybe it was inappropriate for a kid to dance to an explicit song.

Perez Hilton is known for making weird tiktoks in which he reacts to men he thinks are hot. But as fucked up as it is to
sexualise someone, sexualising ADULTS doesn't make anyone a paedophile. That doesn't make any sense.

But ImAllexx doesn't care about that, and uploaded a video titled "this needs to stop now" in which he insinuates that Perez is a paedophile for
thirsting over adult men and thinking that kids shouldn't dance to inappropriate songs...

Try making any sense out of that, because I can't

Alex has also not addressed this or apologised
And the final point:

8.0 -- Howie Mandel
Howie Mandel is a comedian who suffers from a very severe case of OCD. Because of that, he needed to live in a house separate from his wife and kids. This situation would be heartbreaking to anyone... except for ImAllexx, who said this in a video:
I'm gonna tag you because I don't give a shit anymore. @ImAllexx, who the fuck are you to call someone with OCD crazy? Who the fuck are you to mock someone's mental illness? I truly hope you never understand what it's like to have crippling OCD, because I do and I don't wish that
on anyone, not even you.

TL; DR
ImAllexx is racist, ableist, a social climber and falsely accuses people of sexual miconduct for clout. Deplatform the shit out of this man
