Im sat here contemplating breaking Sabbath to smoke a beddy. Thats my life right now. Absolutely nitty. Its a joke ting
For reference. Point 1. I used to be a 5/6 spliff a day smoker and now ive cut down to 2 a day...3 if i really cant sleep. My goal is 1 day by December. Point 2. Since July 2019 ive been a practicing Hebrew Israelite. Which means i must do Sabbath Friday to Saturday.
Now Sabbath is from Friday Sundown to Saturday Sundown. On the sabbath you cannot kindle fire, cook, work, buy or sell anything, drive your car. Nothing. Its a day of rest. Sundown was at 7:39PM. Ive not smoked since that time. And im the type that neeeds a beddy.
Ive struggled with this every Sabbath. But lately ive been feeling really down and low and the happiest ive been in my life is when I complete Sabbath entirely without breaking any rules. I have only completed 2/3 Sabbaths this year. Circumstances has always got me breaking rule
This thread may never get views ever. May never get any likes or comments. But right now im speaking Directly to whoever needs to hear this. Fam. What God wants from his people is so simple. Man said all you gotta do is not do anything on the sabbath. Just rest. And im struggling
All God wants is praises and to live by certain rules that are soo basic. Dont eat certain animals, dont do these things because its paganism and celebrating false idols. And that’s literally about it. Theres deeper laws and rules but none that affect the average joe.
Hebrew Israelites like to shout and be hella serious about God and move angry and strict. When really all God wants is your attention. He wants Love, Respect, and Obedience. The same thing you’re meant to give your parents. I dont Fear God I Love God. Even when i do wrong.
He kept me and protected me in times when i didnt even deserve his protection. Ive gone against God so many times in my life anybody would of gave up tryna help or protect me. I cant tell you the things He’s done. This is for those wrestling with God. Abraham wrestled too.
