i still really think that hwaryun purposefully setting bam on a path that was his own, and then giving him/khun the information to make the decisions they needed to so they could overcome their obstacles (rather than forcing bam down a path he didn't decide himself) +

has an underlying goal of accomplishing what FUG wants in the end. not what FUG elders want but the true FUG - headon, enryuu, arlene, luslec

because bam's attitude and thoughts and feelings will decide the path he takes now and considering SIU has said he is a pure being +

within the tower, he will react to everything that goes on 'humanly' ... so jahad's ruling style and history with his family/friends will of course be seen as evil by him

bam will choose to fight jahad of his own will while not being shoehorned into becoming a FUG slayer +

he'll form his own faction within FUG and rally people from all different backgrounds under him (the list of factions maschenny gave is a good start) ...

also hwaryun planned from early on to reunite khun w/ bam. and khun has said he will follow what bam wants. +

there is a huge possibility that headon/hwaryun/hansung/etc already knew of khun's 'type' and that this development would happen if they met and the conditions were right... and khun being a strategist/lightbearer is the perfect combination to making the magic work

not only this but.

FUG/bam's imagery being the 'butterfly' and... i've been thinking about how fate could be changed by someone with the potential to lead their own path, like bam...

bam having a 'butterfly effect' on the tower makes sense, where one change +

is sparked, and it's not only bam's decisions but everyone's combined change of plans or perspectives that impacts the shift in fate

meaning, to some extent, khun being this close with bam and influencing bam means he has some control over fate's direction too

hwaryun/hansung/headon knowing this and pairing them like a matchmaker is kind of insane

bit beyond this, the way bam has been developing to choose his friends tells me that rachel and all these other elders cursing bam for being a monster that will destroy everything won't happen

because bam will choose his friends over following some path to becoming god
