in addition to the service top alphas; a good chunk of them are ace, and sensing 'heat' doesn't really do anything to them, they're just kind of hyper aware of where/who it is and have an overwhelming urge to Protec during this Legitimate Public Health Issue
alphas have a suppressing presence innately, hence why a/o 'pairs' are common
