so don’t come at me with no “boycott mulan” when y’all still eat at chick fil a, shop j*ffree st*r, and amazon. I try to be as conscious as I can of what, where, and who I purchase things and consume content from BUT I am not perfect and things are not always black and white.

I can support a movie with a largely asian cast while also recognizing the lack of diversity within the crew behind the camera. I can support a movie where new asian talent is being showcased while also acknowledging that the lead is problematic. all of these things can coexist.

anyways that’s that on that. stream mulan if you’d like and if you’d rather not that’s fine too. both reasons are valid but neither are more valid than the other :)
