In today's t*rf wars we find child sex-change club Mermaids has partnered with pressure group Stop Funding Hate. They've been trying to organise an advertisers' boycott to influence the @spectator's gender skeptical coverage. https://twitter.com/afneil/status/1301855536049160192
This did not sit well with the gender-peddling crowd.
Today's target for pressure was @coopuk. They were singled out because @coopukhealth had an advert placed in @spectator. It's for online NHS prescriptions with home delivery: the sort of advert that should be everywhere during a pandemic that kills vulnerable patients.
Mermaids supporters were also present as usual, and Lisa Fajita managed to get the Co-op's attention.
And in a now deleted tweet, Co-op told the Mermaids supporter it would stop putting ads in the "transphobic" Spectator.
Cue the Mermaids celebrations (this is Helen Islan, Mermaids' former marketing officer... the non-trans woman who unsuccessfully took a transwoman to court for transphobia):

Just in case The Spectator hadn't got Mermaids' point:

In steps @afneil, who doesn't take kindly to advertising boycotts intended to influence the Spectator's editorial stance. https://twitter.com/afneil/status/1301822074982404096

Now Co-op's trending, and someone a bit more senior turns up to firefight: https://twitter.com/coopuk/status/1301887717274456065
Next Pink News turns up for some tasty anti-woman £££s, supported by Mermaids again... of course.
Douglas Murray isn't impressed with the Co-op. https://twitter.com/DouglasKMurray/status/1301908759623667715
Co-op confirms that it has not stopped placing ads with @spectator. Hurrah!
Ooh. Mermaids are angry now. Helen's gone to the press to put the pressure back on the Co-op (and by extension the Spectator).
More Mermaids supporters condemning the Co-op (reminder... for advertising home delivery of NHS prescriptions!)
