I've said it about a billion times already but I have to say it again. Jin is such a refreshing and good hyung to the rest of BTS. You see so many groups fall back on traditional "hyung/dongsaeng" dynamics but Jin just said f that and embraced Jungkook like his best friend.

He didn't scold them or use his age to create toxic power dynamics instead he used the few extra years he had to lead with kindness and empathy, to be there for the guys as someone they could lean on.

He's so mature, and even his joking is a form of taking care of the boys.

As someone who's been in the kpop fandom for a long time I've seen so many videos of leaders or eldest hyungs yelling at the younger kids and you NEVER see that with Jin. He just takes care of the boys silently in the background. Taehyung wants to flip the pancake?

Let him flip the pancake. Who cares if he gets it wrong, it's a learning experience for him.

I've honestly never seen a single other eldest hyung like him in a group before and it's so obvious that this was an intentional choice on his part, and the boys see and appreciate it.

There's a reason Hobi has said that Jin played an immeasurable part on their dynamic as a group. There's a reason Tae says his favorite his Jin. There's a reason Namjoon feels like he can relax and goof off when he's with his hyung rather than being forced to flex leadership.

TLDR Jin is a good hyung and y'all should appreciate him more.
