Both Nakyum & Mumyeong are from lowest class who constantly get bad treatment from higher class. Nakyum was a bit more lucky he had his sisters took care of him & fed him. Mumyeong probably didn't have someone —no one even bother to give him name & had to steal to make livings.

In the end he got caught. Little bit I know, he could have been flogged to death instead he got marked with hot iron "theft" to shame him for his rest of life. I don't think tattoo was common during Joseon. I'm not sure either if tattoo was considered vulgar back then or not.

I've seen many times in historical stories people in lowest class who have nothing would do anything to make living. It makes me curious, will it also the same for Seungho if somehow he lost his nobility and wealth?
