(THREAD) Does Trump think U.S. soldiers are "losers" and "suckers"? This thread details what I found while researching my about-to-be-released book Proof of Corruption. All the research supports the story in @TheAtlantic. I hope you'll read on and RETWEET. https://www.amazon.com/dp/1250272998?tag=macsupaduinstalpa-20
IRAQ (🇮🇶): After tensions following a missile attack whose origins Trump deliberately misattributed had died down, Trump inexplicably—after speaking with Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Israel, who all want war with Iran—ramped them back up. It predictably led to new attacks on US troops.
IRAQ 2 (🇮🇶): Those attacks led to 200 traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) among U.S. troops in Baghdad. Trump first lied and said there were no injuries, then said that TBIs aren't real injuries, then said TBIs are just "headaches." So does he consider wounded soldiers "losers"? Yes.
SYRIA (🇸🇾): After every military adviser told Trump not to unilaterally withdraw U.S. troops from Syria—because it would lead to a genocide against our Kurdish allies, because it would lead to a rebirth of ISIS, because it would destroy U.S. power in the region—he did it anyway.
SYRIA 2 (🇸🇾): Why did he do it? Because his good friend Recep Erdogan, the president of Turkey, demanded—not just asked, but *demanded*—that he do it. Erdogan even threatened Trump, which is something he's done before, specifically to Trump's massive business interests in Turkey.
SYRIA 3 (🇸🇾): Trump has admitted he has a "conflict of interest" when it comes to Turkey policy, due to his business interests. In this case, he ordered U.S. troops to flee their bases—giving them over to Russia—and caused *tens of thousands* of ISIS fighters to escape captivity.
SYRIA 4 (🇸🇾): Trump's (successful) protection of his threatened Turkish business interests led to Turkey *shelling our troops* without reply, Russia *taking our bases*, Turkey *committing genocide against our allies* and betrayed civilians *throwing rotten fruit* at our soldiers.
SYRIA 5 (🇸🇾): So Trump came away with money as our soldiers were forced—against their will—to flee the field, face danger from a supposed ally, watch real allies get slaughtered, give over bases to our enemies, and face disgrace.

Does Trump think our soldiers are "suckers"? Yes.
VENEZUELA (🇻🇪): If you want to know what a bunch of suckers Trump thinks our soldiers are, look no further than the Venezuela situation—in which Trump threatened to invade that nation with no thought at all to potential U.S. casualties or *any* strategic advantage(s) to doing so.
VENEZUELA 2 (🇻🇪): But I wish that were *all* that happened. In fact, as Trump was insisting he'd send U.S. soldiers to die in Venezuela he was *secretly negotiating* with the very Kremlin puppet he claimed he wanted to get U.S. soldiers killed in order to take out. Quite a story.
VENEZUELA 3 (🇻🇪): Who was negotiating on Trump's behalf to let a Kremlin puppet not only stay in power but continue to evade sanctions to the benefit of Russia, the UAE, and other autocratic pals? The same cast of characters we saw in Ukraine were involved in this operation, too.
VENEZUELA 4 (🇻🇪): Giuliani, Prince, Parnas, Sargeant III, Pete Sessions—all men with the closest possible ties to Trump (and per usual, ties related to money) and all individuals who conducted secret pro-Kremlin "diplomacy" for Trump without telling *anyone* in the US government.
VENEZUELA 5 (🇻🇪): In other words, Donald Trump used the lives of our men and women in uniform as mere pawns—ignorant set-pieces—in a geopolitical game whose endpoint was *billions* of dollars (billions with a "b") for Vladimir Putin and *nothing* for the United States whatsoever.
GERMANY (🇩🇪): As Proof of Corruption details, Trump pulled thousands of U.S. troops out of Germany in a move that—note the trend—*every military adviser* strongly urged him against but which he did anyway. And who did it benefit? Every expert agrees: it benefitted Vladimir Putin.
GERMANY 2 (🇩🇪): America's military posture in not just Europe but *a third of the globe* was materially denigrated—risking untold U.S. soldiers' lives in the years ahead—so Trump could take a swipe at the European Union, NATO, and Merkel—and make nice with Putin, who hates all 3.
SOUTH KOREA (🇰🇷): In South Korea, Trump cancelled joint U.S.-South Korean military exercises intended to *keep our soldiers safe* so he could do a few photo ops with Kim Jong Un—a U.S. enemy Trump claims to have exchanged "love letters" with, and be in some sort of bromance with.
SOUTH KOREA 2 (🇰🇷): The Trump-Kim Jong Un bromance was indeed about photo ops—and in Trump's view, improving his odds of re-election because of those photo ops—*exclusively*. Everyone told him not to cancel the exercises, and Kim Jong Un now has more nuclear capability than ever.
SOUTH KOREA 3 (🇰🇷): So when Donald Trump cancels military exercises intended to keep our soldiers safe in order to get meaningless photo ops that aid and abet a dictator pal's continued efforts to get nukes, is that treating our soldiers as "suckers" and "losers"? You bet it is.
CHINA (🇨🇳): According to reports from a number of major news agencies in the US and around the world, the White House began receiving military intelligence on an emerging, obscenely dangerous virus in China in *November 2019*. And what did the Trump White House do? It refused it.
CHINA 2 (🇨🇳): You may be confused here—I know I was, when I came across this in my research for Proof of Corruption—by the word "refused." How does a White House "refuse" military intelligence on a virus that, per its own records, could kill millions of Americans? I'll tell you.
CHINA 3 (🇨🇳): Trump had, in June 2019, directly asked President Xi for election aid—as Proof of Corruption notes—and moreover had specifically tied his request to US-China trade negotiations, which Trump had made clear were focused on (note the trend here) his re-election effort.
CHINA 4 (🇨🇳): In November 2019, when the very U.S. military that Trump considers to be filled with "losers" and "suckers" came to Trump and told him he needed to take evasive action in dealing with a new threat emanating from China, Trump was in the middle of trade negotiations.
CHINA 5 (🇨🇳): Had Trump responded to the novel coronavirus in November 2019 instead of February 2020, sure, it would have saved hundreds of thousands of American lives, and honored the intelligence work of our soldiers, but whither Trump's re-election-ensuring trade negotiations?
CHINA 6 (🇨🇳): That's why—as Proof of Corruption details—Trump's trade negotiators deliberately ignored China's insertion of an insane pandemic-related clause in US-China trade negotiations in *December* 2019: because the White House wasn't supposed to know of a possible pandemic.
CHINA 7 (🇨🇳): Back to November 2019, where the very U.S. soldiers Trump considers current/future "losers" and "suckers" were so *stunned* the White House had "refused" their intelligence that they took it to NATO and to the Israel Defense Forces instead. That is, fellow soldiers.
CHINA 8 (🇨🇳): What does it tell you that in the midst of trying to save potentially *millions* of lives from a new virus, American soldiers had the White House door shut in their face by a money and reelection-obsessed Donald Trump—finding a willing ear only among other soldiers?
CONCLUSION: I'm going to stop here, not because there isn't even more evidence (much more) than all this in Proof of Corruption, but because I think the point has been made. *Every action Trump takes* confirms that he thinks our soldiers are "losers" and "suckers"—and always has.
