I had to fix up several places after an eviction, and usually, tenants don't carefully unscrew the sink from the wall. Usually, they don't pour paint on cheap laminate. Usually, they don't leave the appliances (the most expensive thing in the house) in pristine condition.
The vast majority of tenants don't even know that you can remove the window frames from the windows, and I've never seen them carefully do that and leave the building.

The way it looks like it was actually undergoing renovations before the damage was done: unfinished closet, missing trim and cove base, and lack of fire detectors
Oooh, I noticed something else. The window screens were taken out of the window and carefully stacked, untouched, inside the room. I would too, because those a real bitch to re-do.
