Best PL Signing of the Summer so Far: A thread
This is a thread on my 10 best PL summer signings as we look forward to the 2020-21 Premier League season. Likes and RT'S appreciated. Hope you enjoy.
10. James Rodriguez
Fee: About 30 million

He was the master of his own dropoff so he can pick himself back up as well. His relationship with Carlo Ancelotti may be the key to doing that. A loss of form will never mean a loss of quality so overall a good Everton signing.
9. Rodrigo
Fee: 27 million

This is signal of intent from Marcelo Bielsa. Leeds are here and they don't feel like going back. A fairly productive striker but didn't really bang in goals last season at Valencia. Nevertheless, there's always room to improve and he can do that here.
8. Allan
Fee: 25 million (including add-ons)

There's clearly midfield issues for Carlo Ancelotti's side and this man is could be key to unlocking his midfield. Defensively he is as solid as they come. On the attack he is top class. A brilliant passer and dribbler. A top signing
7. Matt Doherty
Fee: £14.7 million

Almost a bargain it seems for Tottenham Hotspur and Jose Mourinho. The Irishman is one of the more complete fullbacks in the Premier League. A quite solid defender that loves to offer anything he can in the attack. Good signing by Daniel Levy.
6. Pierre Emile Hojbjerg
Fee: 15 million

In my opinion a massive bargain for Jose Mourinho and Tottenham. He was a very consistent performer at Southampton and a overall well rounded player. From his ability to turn defence into attack quickly to his physically. An effective one
5. Gabriel
Fee: 27 million

A sign of revitalization in the aging Arsenal defense and Kieran Tierney. The 22 year old is full of potential all areas. His ability of playing the ball from the back and his physical game could prove to be a big asset for Mikel Arteta's side.
4. Donny Van de Beek
Fee: £45 million

In the midst of United's horrendous depth he is the perfect signing. The 23 year old dutchman is undoubtedly versatile in the midfield. Being able to play the No. 10 or add energy as a box to box you name it or even defend. He can do the lot
3. Timo Werner
Fee: £47.6 million

34 goals in 42 games. Clearly that's unreal. In addition to Chelsea's unbelievable transfer window they've picked one of the most lethal strikers in world football. Ngl out of all those signings he's the one least likely to flip imo.
2. Hakim Ziyech
Fee: £40 million

Other than No. 1 he is some signing. One of the most naturally gifted footballers in the world. As a usual No.10 his addition to Chelsea's attack could be the most vital. Passing, shooting, set pieces name whatever you want. He has it at his feet
1. Thiago Silva
Fee: Free

Just when we thought Chelsea's attack meant nothing because of their defense, they go and grab this man on a free transfer. 35 years of age? Doesn't matter. His leadership qualities is just what any team needs. The signing of the summer by a distance.
End of thread. This is my first thread in a long time. I'm hoping to see how this one goes. Please don't let this flop. Likes and RT's appreciated.😊
