Sex work is work and like all workers they should not be subject to oppression by the state. The abolition of capitalism in favour of communism would abolish sex work, alongside all forms of wage labour, because nobody would have to sell their labour for money in order to survive

In a communist society based on distribution according to need people would still be free to produce erotic content and share it with others. The difference is that this would not be done as a means to gain money but would instead emerge out of people satisfying their own desires

In such a situation producing erotic content for others enjoyment would just be another way in which people voluntarily choose to develop their powers, satisfy their needs and in so doing become a new version of themselves.
