How come in books most of the time "passionate" love with high highs and low lows equals forever love, but in real life it almost always spells doom?
Passionate affair = heartbreak
Passionate affair = heartbreak
Some people don't think love is rational. It's a choice beyond our control. I think we choose to fall in love with someone over and over again, because life has a tendency to suck the romance right out, and honestly who wants to live in the afterglow forever?
Give me a guy who buys me tampons and cleans baby puke off my back over Mr. Smolder any day.
I want someone who will jump in the trenches of life w/me, roll up his sleeves, & say, "Let's get dirty, baby" and we build something side by side. Mr. Passionate is always living for his next high w/you, but won't be there when you need him.
Yeah. Learned this the hard way.
