noone talks about why people are addicted to heroin either, he was neglected as a child, his little sister died when he was 20, his prison record means he’s not been employable for two decades. people seek relief for the pain inside n that’s what heroin does, takes the pain away

the replies to this are so disheartening. every addict wants to be freed from a reliance to drugs. addiction is complex and psychological. we need to make sure people can look after themselves without drugs if we want people to stop using them!
