This is the September 4, 2020 COVID-19 Update.

In the last 24 hours, 92 new cases were reported out of 1,166 test results. Of those, 79 are confirmed & 13 are probable. New cases range from 2-96 years with a median age of 36. Positive tests ranged from August 25-September 3.
There are 5 new deaths reported with the state’s import of data from the Electronic Death Reporting System (EDRS). Dates of death span August 19 through September 3. One person was in their 60s, 2 in their 80s, and 2 in their 90s; all are associated with a long-term care facility

Since March 14, there have been 10,641 cases of COVID-19 in Allegheny County residents, 1,000 hospitalizations and 349 deaths.
