Actually, before episode 1, I've been told that it's best to get the mid-season OVA done first so it doesn't disrupt the flow
and it's about snooping around people's houses, yay

animation is looking even more lovely than the previous seasons in general, but especially on closeups like this
aria is actually a really good comic relief character, always love his little antics
also good episode for showing akatsuki to be the lovable fool that he is and akari just doing what I'd do and parking down in every obscure corner of the city if I felt like it

yeah that was a slightly below par episode, good stuff on the architecture front (although the subs made it sound like the buildings have been removed from old Venice to Neo which wasn't the impression I'd got before), chocolate seller thing was average stuff
excellent episode for akari, she's so good, though I think ayumi has the right idea, better to help the locals on the ferries (still very respectable work!) than chase after the prestige position, even if Akari's obviously on the latter path
So much good Akira/Aika content surrounding an inspiring message of creating your own destiny, I think that might be my favourite episode yet
Alice POV episodes are rare but a treat, her way of getting fixated on something is refreshing to see portrayed so nicely - even if the question 'could Alicia ever get angry?' should be known to be met with a firm no
hey this is pretty, and also something I'd never thought about but an interesting theory as to why coastal towns are often like that, including of course, the real Burano, Venice, love the accuracy
you often see similar houses where I'm from in Cornwall

that was such an engaging episode I only took one screenshot. been waiting for alice's properness to really clash with athena's clumsiness, both have had some great moments so far in Origination
alice: ah, my dedicated kouhais, fans of mine, lovely to see you today, wait WHAT are you asking for?
er yes so that was brilliant, great moments for alice and athena, fantastic music, perfect atmosphere in the setting, this back half of origination is really delivering everything I wanted from it
unrelated to anything image
I assume the far future created a moon for Aqua that isn't the two tiny rocks it has now, maybe I'll get an explanation but if not, I am assuming very important and costly terraforming project simply for moon gazing and that is fine

also for moon geekery, so aria has kept all the stats about deimos and phobos consistent (with position etc) aside from their size, they've both been clearly enlarged so they seem like moons and not like the faint stars they'd look like from mars's surface now, I approve
I am like Akira seeing this, grasping just how far Aika has come as a character and it's beautiful
the whole scene is just fantastic

Mostly I sat and admired the last two episodes, they were simply beautiful. A great end to a wonderful series.
and that's a milestone - saw it was coming a couple of weeks ago and planned it to line up - I'm finally at 200 anime (entries), and what a lovely one to do it with
will add in picture drama and avvenire to this thread when I get around to watching them shortly if I have anything to say about them but that aside, aria livetweeting is done and now I'll have to find a new purpose... for the next 6 days at least
