...this arrange mode sounds sick actually now I& #39;m mad that it doesn& #39;t exist https://twitter.com/armormodechang/status/1301883593489289219">https://twitter.com/armormode...
okay so here& #39;s how "SM64 35th Arrange" works. generally M2& #39;s arrange modes also double as easy modes when you don& #39;t use The Trick, so every regular star now gives you 3 stars. requirements to unlock doors are still the same, so now you can beat the game more easily.
however, if you get the star "Behind Chain-Chomp& #39;s Gate" without taking damage and within a time requirement, you will activate "Power Mode", where all the coins enemies drop are replaced with stars. these stars are worth 1 star but picking them up won& #39;t eject you from a level.
note that each Power Mode star can only be collected once, so there& #39;s no farming.

if you die, Power Mode is deactivated; it can be reactivated after this by collecting any regular stage star that hasn& #39;t already been collected without taking damage.
your time and star count is recorded after you beat Bowser in the Sky, and you& #39;re scored based on a formula that I& #39;m too dumb to figure out rn.

this has been "Dumb Idiot Game Design 101." hopefully you took notes, because this will be on the test.
