One important theme on Supergirl comics is the public perception of her.

It& #39;s a theme that was explored in many ways Pre-Crisis, Post-Flashpoint, New 52 and Rebirth.

Kara always had to deal with this since she was a kid.

When she first debuted there was this concern for her to stay hidden.

To the point where she actually built a Fortress of Solitude for herself, with collected items she picked herself.

But the she had to burn everything so her secret identity wasn& #39;t discovered.
On one other occasion, when she first met Krypto Clark yeeted her to space because this also out her secret identity at a risk.
Post-Crisis was complicated too.

On one occasion she had soda being thrown at her face after she fought a villain in the middle of a Baseball game.

There was also this comparison with Superman.
This page is absolutely heartbreaking.

After losing Krypton, after everything she& #39;s been through the public refused to accept her.

And it& #39;s an important theme to be addressed because it& #39;s something that happens with Kara as a character.
Now post-Flashpoint...

New 52 she was pretty much hated by everyone.

Here she wraps herself and Siobhan around her cape to protect them from being attacked by soldiers.
Things didn& #39;t get that much better during Rebirth.

Of course the DEO hated her too.
So when I see the public cheering her his makes me immensely happy.
And finally this.

This is absolutely incredible. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="❤️" title="Rotes Herz" aria-label="Emoji: Rotes Herz">
