I am gonna list some of the most important moments of Hange which helped others a lot in the huge run and why she is so essential.

She was the first to figure out that Eren's Titan powers are only awakened when he has a clear objective in mind, example protecting his friends from a cannon.

She was the first one to figure out that the royal family and people of church are hiding a huge secret about titans and the walls.

First to find out that the material of Annie's crystal and the walls is just the same which leads them to theorise that walls are made of harden titan flesh which is what leads Armin to believe that if eren can harden himself they can close the wall.

She is the one to tell Eren to hit Reiner in the space between his Armor in between the space of his joint as that could be his vulnerable spot.

When Eren is kidnapped by warriors she is the one to figure out that they must be hiding in titan forest as they are probably exhausted and will move at nightfall when titans can't move.

First to figure out that the reason they need to slice a titans neck is because that's where the human body lies after they discover that titans were once human.

In uprising arc when they are plotting against monarchy she along with Levi forces the comrade of one of the prisoner they captured to read a script so that the prisoner would break and he does and reveals the secret of Reiss family.

Eren's note about Ymir and Reiner talk help her to theorise that any titan can become holder of the special powers if they absorb victim aka they can change from mindless to one like Eren, Reiner etc. Hence concluding Reiss family is going to feed Eren to someone else.

She along with moblit and flegel reveals the secret of MPs to common people who realises the fraud of the police. And she also convinces the paper to publish the article about the truth which is what leads to them exposing and taking down monarchy along with zackley's help.

She is the one actively running tests on Eren's titan in order to help him with hardening ability. She makes a device which is planted at the wall gates which helps them to kill titan without using their soldiers and cannon.

It was Hange who speculated that colossal titan reduces in size due to steam emission which was what Armin remembered and against bertholt. Hange also blew up Reiner's jaw to help her team in taking him down.

Hange is empathetic and sympathetic for the dead and the suffering. It was seen when she attempted to console Mikasa by explaining her pain over the constant loss of her comrades, all while hugging her in sorrow.

Hange led the scouts to expedition to Marley in hopes to build trust with them especially during association but unfortunately their plan fails.

During Marley attack she was the one in command of the aircraft for the soldier's rescue.

She was the one to inform military officials about eren and zeke's plan to come in contact.

Saved Levi's life by jumping in river to run away from yeagerist. Levi fans will always be grateful for that .

Negotiates with Magath and Pieck to work together to stop Eren and try to save the humanity.

Estimates correctly that Eren has already started the rumbling in Marley.

These are just few moments I can think of at the top of my head. One of my favorite character who will be missed dearly. I am so glad that she went out like a fucking boss killing 4 colossal titans. She is happy in her afterlife and that's why I am at peace

Ps: Hange's gender in anime is female and in manga isayama has told readers to perceive it however they seem fitting. I am used to calling Hange her not they so I used that. Just wanted to clarify this.

Sacrificed themselves, to buy the alliance some time so they can safely fly away. Kept fighting even while burning. Went out like a damn . Put some respect on the 14th commander's name!!!
