loona as the 12 cranial nerves: a thread
Heejin - Olfactory

first cranial nerve for the first girl!!! transmits sensory information about smell. in vivid the swirling colors kinda remind me of (good) smells so like yeah? Yeah. it works
Hyunjin - Optic

transmits visual information! in the loonaverse hyunjin can be seen as an omnipresent or "all-seeing" figure. she can also blow up cameras by just staring at them! wow!
Haseul - Glossopharyngeal

moves the throat muscles and provides sensory function to 1/3 of the tongue! wow! just like how haseul is the leader of 1/3 :] haseul is a singer she sings
Yeojin - Trigeminal

responsible for for sensation in the face and motor functions such as biting and chewing! it's also the most complex of the cranial nerves! i don't remember my reasoning for this one!
Vivi - Hypoglossal

provides motor function to the tongue and allows for speech! wow! i love vivi's voice. would love to hear it someday @loonaStaff
Kim Lip - Vestibulocochlear

controls the inner ear! transmits sound information and maintains equilibrium (balance). with her oec powers kim lip helps keep balance in the loonaverse :]
Jinsoul - Spinal Accessory

provides motor function to the sternocleidomastoid and trapezius, two muscles located in the neck! u know who has a long neck? jinsoul!
Choerry - Oculomotor

accounts for most movement of the eye and eyelid! very cool! choerry has an odd eye and she can freely move between the dimensions of the loonaverse!
Yves - Vagus

transmits signals between the brain and internal organs! it goes all over! kind of like how in new yves escapes eden (the brain) to travel all over (the body)!
Chuu - Facial nerve

controls the muscles of facial expression! chuu smiles :]
Gowon - Trochlear

responsible for downward and inward movement of the eye! gowon had to look inward to become enlightened in one & only!
Olivia Hye - Abducens

responsible for the outward gaze of the eye! along with the trochlear and oculomotor nerves they control movement of the eye! but since it's hyerimwon your eye movement might be a bit erratic!
end of thread i don't have an explanation i just got very bored while taking neuroanatomy notes
