I used to underestimate how bad an affliction being retrograde is to Jupiter and Saturn, but I had a gig last year that involved doing a ton of quick astrology readings one afternoon another and lots of people said stuff like “Things were moving forward until (day Jup went Rx)”

“And then it was just delay after delay” so I told them that when Jupiter went direct things would move forward again. (Retrograde is an adjective meaning “moving backwards” so of course there will be delays because things aren’t moving forward)

Jupiter is generally not great in Capricorn, but he’s still Jupiter. He does good stuff there. The bigger problem has been that he’s had additional afflictions during his time in Cap. Being ridden by Ketu in early-mid Jan, slamming into Saturn, and since May 14 being retrograde

So if something stopped moving forward for you on May 14, that’s likely why. Venus went Rx on May 13, so if recovered when Venus went direct on June 25, it’s a Venus thing. Otherwise, Jupiter goes direct on Sep 12, and I’m very much looking forward to that.
