Hey Science Journal Editors!

Ban the word “Gender” from your journals today! Force authors to use specific terms like ‘sex’ or ‘ sex-based stereotype’. Rid your journal of equivocation and conflation in an instant. Leave the word ‘gender’ for the social scientists to flap over.
Imagine how much confusion would be removed if you did this. E.g. the term “gender identity’. A much conflated term. Does the author mean,

1) Knowledge of one’s sex
2) Innate sense of one’s sex
3) Preferred sex-based stereotypical presentation
4) Innate sense of sex stereotypes
Yes. Some of these are ridiculous concepts. But that is the point. So many ideologists are engaged on “Motte and Bailey’ equivocation here. Pursuing one implied idea in writing and pushing for another in activism.
