Yes tx/s is 0 or pretty low right now, BUT: Take a look at the projects @ElrondNetwork already partnered with. And give it a quick though, how much tx they will generate in the future. @orion_protocol, for example, is going to connect and #aggregate crypto exchanges. Imagine tx/s

In my opinion, it is not too wild to guess, that $eCash will provide a reliable currency that can be used in every day life, without the problem of an ever changing exchange rate. And guess what.. this will also generate a huge amount of tx/s.
Tx/s will pump the #stockTOflowRATIO of $egld to a rate any other asset in then world can only dream of. Let me repeat: @ElrondNetwork is way.. way bigger than you already imagine.
Partnerships
The PI model: 1000 tx/s are going to generate at least 3 $egld per minute. (If you add a comment to your tx it is going to cost a bit more). The generated fees are going to substitute the issuance until no new $egld is issued. Yes, never again!
As you can see, the tx/s needed for the issuance rate to drop to zero, decreases every year. While the tx/s will grow over time with the growing adoption of the @ElrondNetwork. Those two numbers are running at high speed towards each other just to collide in a #BIGBANG.
