So I've told you all about my Marmaliser Hosts theory ( https://twitter.com/smilescience1/status/1300433069825028097?s=19) but I don't think I went into my other linked theories, the Supercomputer and Oblivion Generator theories - so here we go, time for a little explanation!

The Marmaliser is (or at least is run by) a supercomputer capable of processing up to or over 500TB at a time (theorised because judging by the screen videos, it scans the memories of riders - 10-100TB plus per rider, 16 riders per car, 4/5 cars running at any time plus -

- the 5 legs of the marmaliser and the technology/sensors on the cars, & other effects). Notice how the cables go into the ground? That's because the main part of the machine is stored underground. The pipes on the front of the Smiler station could be part of its cooling system.

Now, something like that running at full capacity (or even running at all) would require a heck of a lot of power, right? That's where Oblivion comes in.

The Oblivion portal is acting as a generator for the Marmaliser computers. They harnessed a portal to whatever dimension to make this work; that's the main reason they were researching Oblivion in the first place.

Now a portal as unpredictable as Oblivion has to have some flaws when used as a power source, right? Flaws likely including fluctuations of energy - which is why the Marmaliser has backup energy sources, like the solar panels we see atop some of the legs, and a mains connection.

Furthermore, Enterprise is not only an look into the effects of Centrifugal Force on the human body and of advocates trust in the Ministry, but it acts as a way to use up excessive energy from the portal when energy levels spike. If the spike is too high -

It directs to other rides.

Now, another thing worth noting - there is a structure beneath X Sector. You see the big tubes around the area? You see the vents? Air conditioning. It's not just the Marmaliser computers down there, there's a facility down there -

And the biggest evidence of this?

There's a door into it behind the Oblivion portal.
