Libyan culture is hard on women. How I& #39;d love a social life that meant I could invite friends to lunch & enjoy an afternoon of chat & sharing good food. Instead we are segregated. Women invisibly pass food to the men in one room disappear with the women & kids.Very restricted.

This is how disrespect for women starts. If you can& #39;t share ideas, discuss things, you are just the cook, the maid to all other men, so how will your husband see you? Psychologically destroying.
