Aight so I finished aggretsuko season 3 and It’s - I-
Also I’m just gonna rant here so MAJOR SPOILER ALERT
I feel like season 2 was way more stronger in terms of theme? That it’s had more of tadano screen time which is a HUGE plus for me
But I liked that they at least kept the characters they introduced from season 2 around for season 3 instead of tossing them aside
But it really fucked over Haifa cus whatever development he was going through until the last ep was thrown out??
I really liked Haida man but literally what the hell was going on the last few min of the last ep??????
I get the whole karaoke battle thing was mainly for blowing of steam in both Retsuko and Haida’s way since he likes punks rn Retsuko being Retsuko

Call me bland or whatever but I really thought they would be really cute since s1 as soon as I saw Haida’s punk fit???? my heart-
I really wanted sanrio to make the relationship realistic??? Cus that was one of the main reason why I loved season 1 ?? Yea I didn’t even like season 2 that much (despite my love for tadano) cus of the oooh look tech mogul wonder?
I get it, it’s a cartoon anything is possible but the combination of ordinary office job but it’s cute animals but you have Retsuko’s repressed anger that exploded out through metal???? That’s fucking brilliant
I don’t like idols in general (but ofc I fell in love with Manaka and those guinea pig girls) and I get the whole ohh it’s cute idol girls but they also play metal is supposed to be the same shock factor as having Retsuko a Sanrio character singing metal and in way it fits but -
Meh?? BUT I LOVE MANAKA MAN, she’s 26 but she’s still not gonna let that stop her from being an idol is so fucking inspiring
INUI , ok listen I didn’t like her ? But then I loved her ?? I thought she was a bit clingy and I’m not a big fan of being friends with your crush so you can idk take the lead or shit like that (I find it quite manipulative)

Regarding back to Haida , I honestly would prefer if he didn’t end up with anyone ( you can’t force him to fall in love with inui but at least still respect retsuko) and then he just moves on???? Cus that’s how life is ?????? Again why I like season 2 better is cus-
It kept its sense of realism in terms of relationships at least? With tadano and retsuko it wasn’t as if they didn’t love each other , it’s just that their lifestyles and in general view of life is incompatible and that’s fine bec it’s genuinely real thing
I enjoyed the character s3 brought more than I like the plot but that’s just me in general (wasn’t like that’s for season 1 but at this point for any show season 1 will always be the best no matter what?)
