Made a lovely birthing box up for the cat and had her nice and settled in it. Went upstairs to use the bathroom for five minutes and came back down to the cat behind the sofa and kitten number one arrived.

Kitten one is safe. It’s ginger like it’s Mammy. Currently curled up under her chin with its tail flicking every so often. Waiting now on the next one.

Now that looks like a proud Mammy face.

Arrival two is darker and fluffier. Poor Mammy is shattered.

We’re still only at the two deliveries mark. Apparently it’s very common for Mammy to take a wee break. Cuteness overload.

Ten hours and four kittens later, Mammy is fast asleep - she deserves it. Certainly made for a different Friday to the norm. Enjoy your weekend all you cool cats and kittens!
