Is Addis Ababa's growth the victim of a political agenda?

You decide.

(lines are drawn in approximation)

This is Adama 36 year growth from '84 till 2020. No political unrest because of growth.
This is Bishoftu and Dukem growth from '86 to 2020. Dukem went from not visible on the map to merging with Bishoftu. Please note, no political unrest because of growth.
This is the 18 year growth of Jimma, from 2002 to 2020. Remember all the marches for the farmers of Jimma? There was none.
Let's take a look at the capitals of other states, how do they fare? This is Awassa 17 years growth, from 2003 to 2020. No civil unrest accompanied this growth.
This is Mekele from 1991 till 2020. Amazing growth that no one ever heard of in the news as an oppressive growth against the poor farmers.
This is the 36 year growth of Addis Ababa from '84 to 2020. Third outer line is the Jurisdiction border of Addis Ababa.
While we should stand up against land grabs and for farmers who need help, why is the natural growth of Addis Ababa a national crisis and not the growth of, say, Mekele or Awassa? Or why is the growth of Jimma not vilified like that of Addis?

let us Depoliticize AA growth.
