A plea as Universities return:
Students, do not underestimate the amount of care and consideration we have taken to try and get this right. The situation is still evolving and we are going to have to be fluid and make changes as we go. We are doing our best. Be kind.

Media, we care deeply about the places we operate in, and we are proud to be multicultural global institutions. Don’t assume we are putting profit over safety, we are dedicated to delivering education and that is our goal throughout this.
Everyone, I can promise you that your local university will be doing everything possible to ensure students follow Covid guidance and many will have developed community pledges to encourage responsible behaviour. Just take a look at Uni webpages for reassurance.
Finally, please extend that kindness and consideration to the social media teams who are doing their best to offer support and advice. Most have been working in an extended crisis situation since March and are doing their best with the info they have. Thank you.
