Just saw this post on /r/kingdomhearts. As a collector, I humbly say to other collectors that do this: Go fuck yourself. Seriously, letting a piece of a franchise's history stay lost and un-archived, just so your precious one-of-a-kind copy keeps it high resell value?
Seriously, why bother posting this? You're just begging for people to come in and call you out for being a selfish greedy asshole.
People are already digging into them in the replies, me included. Look at this fucking greedy asshole.
This is giving me flashbacks to when I came across a YouTube game collector who found a lost prototype of a cancelled sequel in one of my favorite game franchises. And they're just fucking hoarding it. They refuse to sell it at all. We'll probably never get a copy to datamine.
I wonder if those videos are still around. I remember the comments were literally nothing but people BEGGING to buy the prototype off of him so it could be archived, but he would never budge. God I'm getting fucking pissed off just thinking back to that.
I'm sorry for being so heated about this. Game collecting, preservation and ARCHIVING are all topics I am very passionate about, and to see people GO OUT OF THEIR WAY to say "Nah, I'm not going to archive this. I'm keeping it to myself LOL get fucked." just... fucking.... fuck.
this guy's replies are just making me more angry. I gotta chill lol. good night
Final update on this: Looks like the guy deleted the post after getting called out constantly in the comments. What a baby. Also, deleting posts on Reddit doesn't actually delete the post, it simply hides your username from the OP and hides the post from public view. He tried.
Oop, small addendum: Looks like this clown also posted about it on his Twitter. Sigh.
bro if you wanna keep being a clown go hang out in Prankster's Paradise where you belong đŸ€Ą
