I have read this thread and 90% of the things in it are wrong.

I don't like making threads but I will debunk everything here. https://twitter.com/iam_ThePaulo/status/1301493605098549249
1. Atheism makes a claim.

If you say that God does not exist then that is a claim and it requires proof.

If you say that you don't know or just don't believe then that is agnosticism or agnostic atheism which is just agnosticism.
Next the claim that there is no evidence for God is wrong.

EVIDENCE IS INTERPRETED.

If you choose to not be objective and and apply wrong assumptions then you will interpret evidence wrongly.
Your fairy analogy is lacking.

If you claim that there are no fairies under one billion rocks then yes, you are required to lift up one billion rocks to prove that.

You claimed that there are no fairies.

The person claiming the fairies only has to open one rock.
2. You are straw-manning @onayinka_segun

He does not claim that science tells the how, Infact he states the exact opposite. (if anything you made his point for him).
At this point in the thread your ignorance of the quantum theories and physics is shown.

Loop Quantum Gravity would actually means that the big bang did not happen and it would instead be a big bounce.

And there is no observation that proves this.
The father of big bang cosmology is Reverend Father George Lemaitre.

If anything the big bang is likely to serve as proof of God, because it shows that the universe has a beginning and was not always there.
The Big Bang is not a substitute for God.

It has never been and will never be.

A catholic priest formulated it and it never once convinced him that there is no God.

I suggest studying this before talking about it.
Yes science and technology creates the devices we use, but science and technology owes a lot to Christians and Christianity.

With the greater number of Nobel prize winners being Christians.
Infact if we removed the innovation of Christian scientists we would still be in the dark ages.
3. From biology to physics there appears/seem to be evidence of design.

If indeed the universe was created, this is exactly what we should expect to see.
In the book The Blind Watchmaker, 1996, p. 1 Richard Dawkins acknowledges this design.

(of course he concludes differently from me).

But he sees this appearance of design.
DNA is like a computer program, it is not written the way humans write code, but it is still like a computer program.

That's a strong case for design.
In physics, the laws( or natural phenomena) of nature are precise and accurate.

Infact if there were changed slightly the universe would not be here.
The claim about the universe not being fine tuned is provably wrong.

Infact, evidence disproves it .
As for your many examples, you attempt to show ways the universe is hostile to human life.

The claim of Christianity is that the universe designed but went bad.

With such a claim we expect to see two things.

- An Appearance of Design.

- Parts of the design not being good
E.g: In human biology.

Where we see some aspects of design we will see aspects of corruption (poor design).

We observe all of this in the biology, exactly as the bible puts it.
You made claims contrary to observation that the universe and life looks designed, when Infact the universe looks exactly how it should be if there is a design gone bad.

The design is visible and observed, but along with it we see corruption (or design gone bad)
CONCLUSION: You contradicted yourself and show that you don't know what quantum cosmology is saying or what the big bang is.

You are wrong
