i& #39;m gonna make a thread on why I still believe PSG& #39;s season 2 might be possible and probably will happen sometime soon.
possibilities of it already date back wayy back to when the OST was made.

of course, what followed was Imaishi leaving Gainax in 2011 to create what is now known as Studio Trigger, and so the rights of the show were lost to him and kept to Gainax, leaving no possibility of another Season, for 9 years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHdWRgMeXo4">https://www.youtube.com/watch...
This didn& #39;t stop them though, they still wanted to make more PSG, it& #39;s just that they couldn& #39;t, the only way they could is by acquiring the rights back, which was a difficult task of course.
On February 21st, it was confirmed that Gainax was "essentially taken over" by Trigger, Kadokawa, Khara and King Records. This was probably done to acquire the IP of old shows (such as psg).
and of course, this leads us to now, We are essentially 1 month away from the 10th anniversary of this show, 10 is a big number when it comes to years. It would make perfect sense to at least acknowledge it/announce something about it.

I am not saying that it is confirmed, this is all just speculation and observation, but this would be the perfect oportunity to pay back the diehard fans that have been keeping this community on a dying, yet still active state.

if they managed to make such spectacular scenes all the way back in 2010, we could only imagine what these folks could do with the technology of 2020.
