I present as a pretty binary trans woman here, so I want to make something clear: I never told my parents I was a girl growing up. I never wore dresses. I liked dinosaurs and legos and I went to Boy Scout camp and I liked it. You don’t need a lifetime of signs to be trans.

I can find signs when I need to. I loved figure skating and horseback riding and books with strong female protagonists and I was so sensitive. But plenty of boys are these things. The difference between them and I is that I am trans and they are not
