~Homage to my cuddly toys~

A thread, because it will make me happy.
Freddie Bear, formerly 'Teddy', my absolute favourite who I used to eat honey sandwiches with. Xx.
Giraffe, my other favourite, who got confiscated once in year 2. And I haven't forgotten, Miss Hall. He was my brother's until I was about 2.
Dedenne, who is round and was one of the last 2 pokémon left at the toy shop. The shop is now the less interesting jewellers where my mum used to work.
Grey Elephant. He is still here. He was named to differentiate him from Elmer, who was sadly taken from us by chairman mum in the toy purges and is presumed dead.
Ugly Chicken
Shaun, who is heavier than he looks. The coolest toy in the charity shop.
Severus Snake, who once cosplayed as Crowley when I did Aziraphale in the times before the series. He's from all the way over in York, which was the other side of my childhood universe.
SPARKLE
We found her on the street in a little bag that said 'Sparkle' on it. It was kind of like a horse box crossed with a body bag so I threw it away.
Butterfly and her daughter (who I never named. Maybe Butterfly knows.)
Strawberry, Milkshake, and Bow. Their brother Fire was donated to an after school club, along with Baby and Tweekah the parrot, which I regret :(
DOUGIE DOUGIE DOUGIE DOUGIE
A DO YA DO YA DO YA DO YA
KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOIN DOIN TO ME
A DOUGIE DOUGIE DOUGIE DOUGIE
Tiny Clanger, who was my mum's. Her voice box is very crackly now but apparently the clip they used translates to "sod it, the bloody thing's stuck again."
She is in fact supposed to be Mother Clanger, but we misidentified her.
I think her name is Sylvia? She was once Freddie Bear's girlfriend. I have since realised that Freddie Bear is an old gay who is probably jaded and tired of my bullshit.
She originally had a bunch of flowers, which I took off because she couldn't hug without her arms.
Lola Bunny, a gift from the first person I fell in love with. She was intended to be a comfort object for my possible depression at the time. We lost contact a while back, but she's the prettiest goth I ever saw.
Cecil. He is from my friend, who brought him back from a holiday. She drew the dots on herself. She is talented at drawing corny pin-up style fantasy creature women. I worry about her quite a lot. We don't talk much.
Barnaby, who I've had for as long as I can remember. He can sit up on his own and everything.
Hamish, who is Scottish and has an 'H' on one of his feet so he remembers who he is.
Crispspspspsps. He's called that because I couldn't pronounce 'crisps' and I thought it was funny. In my defence I know a child who called his bike cbeebies.
Penguin went with me on my first holiday abroad because he is very small. I discovered that going down in an aeroplane makes my ears hurt so much I cry 👍
Bernard
Cinderella because I wanted to be a princess
Wol. They came from flamingo land. Very soft but very grumpy.
Tiger uses any pronouns and so does Wol. Also from flamingo land. Very very soft and cuddly.
Honey. I once found another toy exactly like her at a daycare and I was so scared I'd left her there by mistake and they wouldn't let me have her back. Luckily I found the real Honey safe at home. Sad I couldn't save the other toy because at that point I'd seen toy story 3.
Cat. Very very grumpy and not very fun to play with. I still love her. She was my Auntie's.
(My auntie was in fact the best friend of my great grandma, who we also all called auntie.)
Jemima in the dress my grandma made for her. I feel like I was quite ungrateful to grandma about it but I don't have any clear memories of that so I reckon it's just the anxiety talking. Jemima is a ballerina because I wanted to be one.
This is Toffee. He's also fed up with the world, even more so than Freddie because he's much older. He also belonged to my auntie. He is wearing Jemima's tutu because it fits and he looks wonderful in it.
Monkey from poundland. I love him he's so soft.
Petri the Purple Mouse who I made in year 9. He had yellow eyes but I stole them for something else. I need to give them back because the world is cruel to blind mice.
Mousey Mouse is my dear friend from birth, I believe, who was made for me by my auntie. I don't think I ever used pronouns for them. Mousey Mouse was always just Mousey Mouse.
Floppy Dog is really spectacularly floppy. My brother had her twin with blue ears, but he gave him away because he was never overly attached to toys like I was.
Boofle was given to me by my best friend ever, who I call my brother but he's actually not related to me. We have a lil bit of tension going on and it sometimes gets weird... Anyway I love him even if I'm not awfully attached to this toy.
Tw // food (kind of)

Sock thing is from my other best friend from primary school. He is full of rice which is fun to squish about and also smells kind of tasty.
Big Bear. He was a present from the friend who gave me sock thing. He is the biggest bear I have but does not rival my brother's bear Tartan Gabriel [Surname], who is named for the bow around his neck and also for Peter Gabriel.
Pinga. I got her from the bank when I was very small. I wanted Pingu but my brother got Pingu because he's the older brother and I was the younger 'sister'. He always got first dibs on everything >:(

But I'm stealing his room now so hah.
~End of Thread~
