THREAD: "Hey Jen, why were you in that viral screenshot of Mr. Enter trying to defend his awful behavior?", since people have been asking me about it all day.
A few weeks ago my friends and I got to talking about Mr. Enter and wondered if he was still around. (1/10)

Like most folks my age who know him, I haven't seen any of his videos in at least five years but I was a fan in my young teens. I found a link to his not-yet-existent TV show's discord server and decided to lurk out of curiosity. (2/10)
I was immediately stunned by how in the rules and in conversation he came across as really ungrateful, self-important, and rude. I didn't say much but I hung around cuz I was showing my friends some of the stuff that was happening in awe at how ridiculous some of it was. (3/10)
Yesterday, the initial screenshot got posted and I finally spoke up about how I thought everyone there deserved better--especially considering how much hate Enter gets, you'd think more gratitude or at least basic decency would be in order. (4/10)
I got kicked around this time, but came back after a while wanting to know what they said behind my back, etc (6/10)
...unsurprisingly, it wasn't nice. Got misgendered and then called a sociopath, so that's cool, I guess. (7/10)

Today someone did roughly the same thing I did yesterday, so I supported them this time around. It ended with one of the moderators threatening self-harm at the conversation. (8/10)

I (and others) expressed discomfort with the situation and then got banned when Enter got mad at me for "trying to change the subject". (9/10)

In conclusion: Mr. Enter is the same as he's always been, and I feel terribly bad for these poor fans of his who don't even realize they deserve more respect than he's giving them. (10/10)
