1/ We’ve worn masks, distanced, avoided large gatherings, washed hands...but one teacher and a few students did not. So a kid of mine has #COVID. The worst is behind - she just can’t smell/taste now. But...
2/ The new @TNDeptofHealth guidelines (8/29) say my kid should isolate for 10 days AFTER TESTING and anybody isolated with that kid (eg. the whole fam) should quarantine an ADDITIONAL 14 days AFTER that child’s isolation period. 24 days total? Is that right?
3/ But our doctor says isolate for 10 days from onset of symptoms, but make sure we’re symptom-free for 24 hrs before ending isolation. But does not smelling/tasting count as a symptom? Because it can last for weeks. #confused 🤷🏻‍♂️
4/ Somebody’s “liberty” is now costing six of us ours.
