Jason had abruptly lost his job. We were crushed, scared and very unsure of when things would right themselves (not yet knowing that coronavirus was around the corner). I remember walking by the tree and thinking to myself, “When this blooms again, so much will have changed.”
And that has surely come to pass. Jason now has a job that he’s really enjoying (one we miraculously secured even during these days of the pandemic). Of course, other changes have come, too. Not all stellar.
But these gorgeous flowers are here to remind us that life is a cycle and that if we stay present while remembering change is constant, we will all surely bloom again. And bloom brilliantly at that.
