i don't trust that pzza twer thing with a ten foot pole. they have no motivation to ever release it because they're making over 2,000 a month off of it being in permanent production. it looks the same it did a year ago
the creator only communicates through 100% branded accounts with absolutely no evidence of who the real human behind them is, which means no accountability - he could disappear tomorrow and what would any of you do
"but almost everyone uses pseudonyms online" yeah but hw many of them seem to run an extremely complex and highly successful brand where they run a big discord and stream all the time and show off unrelated fanart mill stuff like a doom mod they made and so forth all the time
notice how none of these are at all binding in any way if a game never releases?
you know what it's like? it's like an infinite kickstarter - you can ALWAYS add stretch goals. the game is a hazy mess with poorly defined ideas of what the "Result" will be - just a lot of impressive (??) demo stuff that can be stretched forever
also, the game is so obviously defined by being two things you already like ("it's a wario land / earthworm jim! you love those, right?") and so defined around it's marketing (HOW much of the supposed update twitter is just networking and fanart rts) that it already feels suspect
