I’ve been seeing a lot of requests across the board for more communist literature written by women, and as this is kind of my specialty, I’ve decided to compile a list of some badass women who’ve written communist text:
Sylvia Federici, Claudia Jones, Audre Lorde, Patricia Hill Collins, Dorris Lessing, Harriet Washington, Rosa Luxembourg (Revolution or Reform is an all time favorite of mine), Clara Zetkin, Simone De Beauvoir, CONTINUED
Miyamoto Yuriko, Arlen Siu, Clare Sheridan, Edith Bone, Olga Forsh, Ruth Frow, Betty Hamilton, Bettina Aptheker, Nina Hibbin, Pagu, Sulekha Sanyal, Christa Wolf, and Dora Montefiore
I’ve only read literature from about half of these amazing women but if you’d like any suggestions on where to start with their works let me know and I’d be more than happy to help!
Obviously this thread isn’t exhaustive but if you have any others I might have missed you should absolutely drop a comment!
