Okay, hear me out, and I& #39;m open to feedback, but:
Isn& #39;t religion (Christianity for the most part) engaging in the same principle/divisiveness as racism when it says:
MY race/religion is the superior/correct one, all others are wrong/less and will go to hell.

Now, I make this thread not to trash religion (I know there is good to it) but to kind of check ourselves as we try to make the world a better place, even by changing how we see our spiritual connections.
The second someone starts believing that their way is the only and right way (in a world with 7 billion ppl in it) that start& #39;s to become a bit egocentric and selfish.
I remember as a kid being told that if you aren& #39;t Catholic then you aren& #39;t on a path to heaven, but hell.

Small things like this "other-isms" are what create prejudices in people as young as little kids.
And then you are told you can& #39;t question it.
Those prejudices taught to me as a kid have taken learning and reflection to overcome.

Religion in general is taught as something that you have to just trust.
Like I said, not all religion is bad, but as we try to make the world a better place I think it is good that we find better ways to communicate our beliefs/passions that leave out divisive rhetoric.
