After meeting with Jacob Blake& #39;s family in Milwaukee, Wis., @JoeBiden arrives in Kenosha to hear from roughly 20 faith, former police chiefs, small business owners and other community leaders at Grace Lutheran Church.
While listening to community leaders, @JoeBiden took notes which allowed him to directly respond to each person who spoke before he took the mic. Broadly, Biden told the community he isn& #39;t "pessimistic" about the future rather he& #39;s "optimistic for the moment if we seize it."
Speaking to the concerns of ongoing burnings and looting, @JoeBiden reiterated his position that such destruction should be punishable.
“Regardless of how angry you are, if you loot or you burn you ought to be held accountable. Period," he said. “It just cannot be tolerated”
