I go more into depth on this on my creator page, but I plan to publish short and long personal writings, all centered on my experiences, thoughts, and reflections as a 23-year-old brown skin Black woman, living in a white supremacist patriarchal capitalist society.
Iâll talk about a range of topics, from colorism to religion to economic justice to racism, and how they interest with our current political and social issues. Think something like https://wearyourvoicemag.com .
And yes I'm still a reporter! I really enjoy and appreciate my job. But there is one thing I sometimes hateâbeing objective. There are so many things Iâd like to write about from my personal perspective, but canât since Iâm not an opinion writer. Patreon can change that for me.
I want to be as accessible as possible, so all of my writings will be available for as little as $5 a month. The tiers above that include other fun benefits, like a livestream with me. The highest tier is just $20 a month (though you're welcome to donate more), so nothing crazy.
People from all backgrounds and walks of life are welcome to become members! However, I will not tolerate any sort of hate (racism, transphobia, etc) - you will get blocked and removed for that. I want to build as inclusive and loving of a Patreon community as possible!
I have no idea how many people are even interested in what I think or have to say. But Iâm willing to take a chance and see how this goes!! And hopefully further grow and develop as a writer and creative
