This is the plastic surgery team at our hospital.

They have been one of the most overworked and drained teams in the hospital since day one of the explosion.
On the day of the explosion, aside from their work in ER they performed several critical and complex hand surgeries, in addition to two blast unrelated emergency cases, one of which was the first to be done in Lebanon, a total microvascular re-implantation of an amputated scalp!
As most of the injuries were treated in a very chaotic and suboptimal manner acutely during the days of the explosion, they had to revise the majority of the wounds and provide adequate restitching of hand, face, scalp and extremity wounds as the standard of care should be.
Moreover, they have been in charge of longer term follow up on all of the wounds receiving a huge number of patients in their clinics on daily basis along with their full biweekly outpatient department hours.
In addition, they have been running a very heavy inpatient service managing a parallel effort of both the explosion cases along with their usual unrelated demanding reconstructive and flap operations.
I can't squeeze a description of their work in a thread, but one can't let the efforts of these attendings and residents unrecognized.
